Philippe Aumais is a CPA Auditor serving as Lead, Finance, Administration and HR at Spiralis Medical, where he oversees the company's financial operations, tax and government credit programs, human resources, and board and investor reporting.

Philippe brings professional audit and accounting experience from Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT), one of Canada's leading accounting and business advisory firms, where he serves as a Senior Auditor managing full-cycle certification engagements, audits and review engagements, prepared under ASPE, IFRS, and NPO accounting standards.

At Spiralis Medical, Philippe leads the company's finance function, including full-cycle accounting and compiled financial statements, corporate and government tax filings, and SR&ED/IRAP research and development tax credit claims. He also leads human resources operations, including the company's HR information system rollout, payroll, and benefits and equity plan administration, and supports the company's fundraising and governance activities, including Series A financial planning, investor diligence materials, and board reporting on spend, burn rate, and runway.

Philippe holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Auditor) designation, granted by the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. He earned a Graduate Diploma in Specialized Studies (DESS) in Accounting in 2024 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) in Accounting in 2022, both from HEC Montréal.
